Made with the life-prolonging water from the fountain at Mt. Nachi, Marusho Vinegar Brewery presenting the aromatic rich in flavour vinegar. Established 1879, Marusho Vinegar Brewery maintained their traditional way of brewing vinegar using wooden barrel over 143 years. Many connoisseur from all around Japan even as far as France and Italy come to Nachi-Katsuura or directly exporting this gourmet vinegar.
After 1945, among many vinegar brewery using barrel made of plastic or iron, Marusho Vinegar Brewery upholding the traditional way of brewing. After a long years long research, Marusho Vinegar Brewery succeed at producing a flavourful high-quality vinegar. Henceforth Marusho Vinegar Brewery continuing the tradition and only used wooden barrel for fermentation.
